C# Developer – ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, JavaScript

Xanthos is an innovative digital marketing agency based in Ely near Cambridge. We work with clients that present us with wonderful opportunities to help them get the best out of their web presence. We have a particular strength in ecommerce working with some exciting internet entrepreneurs.

Xanthos has been awarded a number of projects that means we need to expand our team.

We have an opening for an ASP.NET C# web developer to join our successful web team. You will be responsible for delivering customisations to meet our clients’ business requirements.
 

You will have a detailed understanding of object-oriented programming with an ability to produce robust, efficient and well-structured code.

If you have e-commerce experience it would be preferable. If you have previous experience using AspDotNetStorefront and/or Kentico this would put you at an advantage.

Mandatory technical skills and experience

• At least 5 year’s web development experience in C# /ASP.NET 4 or above
• Object oriented programming
• C#
• ASP.NET 4 or above
• MVC5
• MSSQL 2014 or above – stored procedures, T-SQL, Triggers, Data Migration
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• VisualStudio and Git
• Experience working in formal project management environments and use of Jira
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable skills and experience

• AspDotNetStorefront Ecommerce development
• Kentico website development

Required Qualifications

You will have a degree with at least a 2:1 in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a good university and at least 3 years of good web development experience. Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
